Filling Pieces shutdown Fall/Winter 2015 releasing 65 sneakers for Drop 2
Filling Pieces continue to lavish us with an array of luxury footwear, following the unveiling of their second drop for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. The Amsterdam-brand retains its most successful silhouettes in brand new reiterations, along side a variety of other sleek designs including the Low Top, Mountain Cut, Low Top Transformed, Mid Top Transformed, High Top Transformed, Low Ultra and the Runner Transformed.
Although rubber is traditionally reserved for the soles, the creative team at Filling Pieces opted with bending the rules an all rubber upper for its Pyramid-patterned design. Made completely out of recycled rubber, this design features on each shape and comes in three colourways – black, white and red. Other eccentric designs include the use of exotic iguana skin-printed leather across the Low Top, Mountain Cut and High Top Transformed models. Inspired by creative director Guillaume Philibert’s home country of Suriname, the textured upper is soon to become a fan favourite.
Completing the collection are the Low Top Paolo White, inspired by football player Paolo Maldini, as well as Mid Top Transformed ACP “Woven Grey,” to make up the 65 sneaker-style offering from Filling Pieces. The collection is due to drop on August 7th on Filling Pieces’ online store, in addition to a number of retailers including Mr.Porter.
