adidas Originals introduce another reiteration of the Superstar sneaker.
Presenting us with yet another reworked mock-up of the adidas Superstar, adidas Originals introduce the slip-on model. Taking clear inspiration from its Y-3 subsidiary to reinvent the iconic shell-toe sneaker, the slip-on features elastic strapping across the upper with a clean neoprene fit, in options of either white or black. Although this sneaker may not be an instant favourite amongst sneakerheads, the German brand’s willingness to be adventurous and experimental has been strongly rewarded, with the adidas Superstar enjoying its most prominent year since its 1980s glory years. The sneaker is now available at select online destinations and in store.
