A dusky pastel pallet is Common Projects theme of choice this spring.
Luxury sneaker company, Common Projects are renown for their minimalist input in the footwear realm and have carried this on in their SS16 capsule. In a shady yet luminescent effort, the NYC imprint has mirrored all the colours that make us fall in love with the spring season.
Sticking to their front runner silhouettes, including the Achilles series, not much has changed design-wise for Common Projects this season. However, interestingly the Achilles Low has undergone a subtle change, being introduced with a tonal Velcro strap, a light detail that I think most will come to appreciate. As always, an arrangement of colours and materials are available, my favorites being from a plush suede slip on in a light tan or the thick leather Achilles Low in mint green; all examples of a very visually delicious array of shoes.
The full collection is available for your viewing pleasure on Common Projects website, take your pick and put some money down as these are a seasonal must have.
Make sure you grab your favourite pair at END. Clothing or MR PORTER in the coming weeks.
