Pharrell & G-Star RAW release “RAW for the Oceans” Collection

G-Star RAW unveil their first collection with Pharrell as a co-owner.

Pharrell has had a long running relationship with Dutch brand G-Star Raw and they have joined forces for previous collaborations, however a few months back Pharrell committed fully by becoming a co-owner of the company.

‘RAW for the Oceans’ is the first drop with Pharrell as a co-owner and the 19-piece collection is constructed from recycled ocean plastic. Denim is expectedly a big factor in this collection but other garments include t-shirts and sweaters bearing the slogan ‘Wtf are you doing to my oceans’. With such a big name like Pharrell taking a stand for a more sustainable lifestyle, we expect to see more big brands offering eco-friendly fashion in the coming months.
