AppleCore is a Paris-based contemporary fashion brand founded in 2015 by Moriba-Maurice Koné and Steven Alexis. All items are made or reworked in France with the desire to bring creative and practical clothes in perpetual evolution.
Intuition, permanent dialogue and the Applecore’s duet’s surroundings are the foundation of Koné and Alexis’ creative process. A mix of ideas that, once put together, draws a certain path and follows on a search for deep referencies. The AppleCore Spring/Summer 2016 collection is therefore closely linked to the designers’ personal and current thoughts about a specific time in History: the Renaissance. An era that translates another way of thinking, a quest for knowledge and the mastery of diverse art disciplines.
Looking for resurgence in a modern era, the “Humanisme” collection balances between intuitive visions and established basis developed in the XVth century, depositary of a specific philosophy and Antique art movement.
