Kai Dunkel: AW16 Architecture, art and avant-garde aesthetics.
Edgy, raw and monochromatic : avant-garde designer Kai Dunkel, based in Germany, creates and breaks down the concepts of design and architecture. Entitled “EXITUS”, the collection provides masculine silhouettes with a dystopian-like wardrobe – think the Hunger Games and Divergent series – with a much realistic touch.
The craftsmanship and the details from “EXITUS” – the Kai Dunkel Autumn/Winter 2016 collection – got us hooked at PAUSE: especially with the hoodies’ sharp silhouettes, the grey jackets and the overall deconstructed pieces, embarking us on a new fashion experience.
