After discovering the likes of Astrid Andersen, Jonathan Saunders, J.W. Anderson and Liam Hodges to name but a few, the Spring/Summer 2017 edition of Fashion East was unveiled during London Collections: Men and pushed new names forward for the sake of everyone. Established by the Old Truman Brewery and supported by TOPMAN, the initiative allows emerging creatives and graduates to present their collections to buyers and press while being exposed to many viewers.
This season, Central Saint Martins alumni Rory Parnell- Mooney fully embraced Gingham pattern – from the smallest details to the most exciting pieces of the collection – while Luke Stevens presented his futuristic vision of men’s wardrobe. Fashion East also featured the playful and modern silhouettes of Rottingdean Bazaar (the label designed by James Theseus Buck and Luke Brooks), presenting their sweaters, print bomber jackets and all-white palette background.
