We get our first look at Saint Laurent sans Hedi Slimane.
On Friday 17th Laurent released three snippets via Instagram of what YVS will look like under it’s new creative director Anthony Vaccarello. All images on the Laurent Instagram were withdrawn along with Slimane back in April to make way for Vaccarello’s vision.
The clips reveal mood rather than any actual looks. No clothing is present, but two prone, nude models are, hinting that Vaccarello is trying for a more understated, modern Saint Laurent with his SS17 collection for Paris Fashion Week in October.
Today, more content has surfaced. Two images: a headshot of a female model and an crop of a male model, neither are any less cryptic than the video’s released prior but we’re just happy to see Laurent’s Instagram page filling up once more.
