KLAR take the over-sized trend a few steps further for SS17.
KLAR’s SS17 offering unites the trend of over-sized with a sense of distortion. Arguably inspired by a juxtaposition between childlike wonder and the growing distortions of an adult reality, the collection encompasses a crumpled texture throughout and plays on the concept of silhouettes to an extreme level.
Outerwear is presented at a unique angle, with garments hanging off model’s shoulders and being wrapped round their waists, further emphasising the unconventional silhouettes it presents. Colours don’t stray too far from the striking blacks, whites and reds however make an exception for splashes of olive green and off-white. KLAR’s version of Spring/Summer ’17 is experimental, exaggerated and incredibly avant-garde.
