Hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd – composed by brothers Khalif “Swae Lee”and Aaquil “Slim Jxmmi” Brown – were portrayed in a series of fashionable and on point photographs. Interviewed by W Magazine’s associate digital editor Emilia Petrarca, the two brothers (now 23 and 24) disclosed a bit more about their lifestyle, their sense of fashion and what music means to them. The pictures, shot by Atlanta-based photographer Gunner Stahl, show the hip hop duo striking poses with an underground, raw background.

About their lifestyle: “SremmLife is doing what you want (…) If you like reading books, that’s your SremmLife. If you like throwing glass at the wall and that turns you up and gives you energy — SremmLife.”
About Jxmmi’s style: “My style is eccentric (…) I really want to be a part of the Gucci show this year. If they could make that happen, that would be great. Look, I know I look amazing in Gucci.”
About their influence: “If I was you, I would hate on us too,” (…) We have way too much swag! We’re too fresh! We’re doing too much major stuff in this generation. We’re like the Renaissance.”
About what’s a good party: “You need a higher ratio of women to guys. Alcohol. Balloons. And beer pong. Beer pong is life.”
