10.Deep drop desert-inspired collection.
This season, 10.Deep have looked to the desert to inspire their Fall 2016 collection, ‘Outlands’. The veteran streetwear brand have created this season’s clothes in a multitude of earth tones that instantly conjure up feelings of the Sahara desert. Using heavily washed and repaired fabrics, the collection is adorned with indigenous blanket patterns and simple graphics that point to an exploration of human nature, solitude, psychedelics, death and the spirit world. The New York-based brand’s references to the visual landscape and symbolism of the desert are excellently executed through the sand-coloured loose-fit trousers, camo print jackets and quirky cactus motifs.
