BFC present new category: ‘International Urban Luxury Brand’.
The 2016 Fashion Awards are fast approaching and the British Fashion Council have released the nominees. In association with Swarovski, this year’s awards are taking a totally global approach with a grand total of 1, 500 nominees from roughly 41 countries. There are new categories too, most notably ‘International Urban Luxury Brand’, which has resulted in adidas, Gosha Rubchinskiy, OFF-WHITE, Palace and Vetements all being nominated for the award.
BFC Chairman Natalie Massenet said of this year’s awards: “The shortlisted nominees prove the incredible talent we are so fortunate to work with both at home and abroad. This year’s ceremony will be thrilling and I look forward to welcoming all our guests to London and to what has become one of the most-anticipated highlights of the global fashion calendar.”
