City food and drinks

Where: Jackson + Rye, 30 Old Jewry, London, EC2R 8EB
Newly opened, Jackson + Rye City is nestled down a quiet street, but still manages to be at the centre of the feisty Bank area.

Walking in to see the impressive bar, I am immediately captivated. Greeted by the cheerful staff, I was walked through into the striking dining area. The word ‘huge’ springs to mind; Totally unexpected! Large booths, compliment intimate smaller tables, creating a versatility for group size; date night or birthday party.
PAUSE recommends:
Mixed olives (for the table)
To share: Truffles Mac & Cheese, Salt & Pepper Squid, Blue Swimmer Crab Cakes
For main: Cajun Grilled Swordfish; it comes with new potatoes, baby kale & green beans. So succulent and bursting with flavour.
Don’t forget: To order a side of Skinny Fries!
Save space for: The Melting Chocolate Sundae (OMG)
