ACRONYM x Nike AF1 Dowtown Hi SP out now.
If you have not come across the photos of the upcoming ACRONYM x Nike collaboration, then you have been missing out. Leaked images, illustrated renderings posted by Errolson Hugh himself have contributed to the hype of the collaboration, reminiscent of the ACR x Nike Air Presto. Due to high demand, the sneakers have already sold out on the official ACRONYM website, but there some new product shots that show off key design details that sets this sneaker apart from it’s predecessor.
Initially, the sneaker just resembles a SF-AF1, however once the heel comes into view, the AF1 Downtown Hi SP becomes a significant aspect. This version has been altered with a breathable nylon to generate greater articulation and comfort. With the nylon fabric secured to the sneaker through its intricate strap system, the sneaker seems closer to a modified hightop AF1, conforming to the ACRONYM design elements.
