By March 1, 2017Fashion News

Puma x Trapstar turn to West London street style and football for their new collection.

Global sports brand Puma have teamed up with Trapstar yet again for another collection this time looking to West London street style and football for inspiration. The street lifestyle brand founded by Mikey, Lee and Will has grown from strength to strength over the years and now has a huge celebrity fan base.

For their latest collection they take cues from military and utilitarian design all inspired by the versatile street wear seen around the Portobello Market neighbourhood in Notting Hill. Remixing iconic street wear silhouettes, the collection has an authentic Trapstar feel.

Classic styles have been reimagined for this collection as seen in the Clyde and Clyde Bold, it’s court look is curated to give an authentic but street vibe. The use of materials is in point on both styles using uppers of premium nubuck and a luxury leather both still displaying Trapstar detailing and branding. The collection goes deep into Puma’s archive and a rendition of the Prevail OG with a classic Trapstar twist is on offer. With silhouettes that have street wear influences, rich materials and authentic Trapstar detailing the collection focuses on burnt olive, white and black.

The collections apparel includes all the essentials any street wear range needs, including standout pieces, infused with Trapstar’s underground subculture influences. The archive parka jacket has been reworked with utilitarian details from the stitching to the patch sleeve pockets. Classic crewnecks feature in the collection but with a Trapstar edge featuring military details such as outstanding sleeve pockets. The final piece that stands out from them all is the T7 track jacket that is of course finished of with Trapstar detailing.

The collection drops 10th March at END Clothing, DSM, Hanon, FootPatrol and Size?.
