The recipients include A-COLD-WALL*,  Liam Hodges and Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY.

NewGen is a part of the British Fashion Council’s scheme to aid emerging menswear and womenswear designers. This program also offers the young talent financial support, showcasing space, business training as well as mentoring. NewGen has previously helped now well-known designers such as Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou and J.W. Anderson. From now on, the sponsorship will be awarded to designers who plan to showcase their work during London Fashion Week Men’s and London Fashion Week.

Caroline Rush CBE, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, said: ”The new format of our NewGen initiative allows the BFC to be flexible in the support it offers emerging designers, and recognizes the changing nature of fashion business and showcasing models. We want to empower these designers to build and strengthen their brands in close alignment with their creative vision.”
