Loose-fit silhouettes inspired by rave culture.
Martine Rose debuts their latest menswear and womenswear collections for SS17. This ultra cool collection has the best mix of high fashion and streetwear, which has come together harmoniously. In an interview for SSENSE the London designer talks about her teenage years of clubbing, and how raves have inspired and energised her label. The pieces include oversized cotton t-shirts and baggy jeans, balanced out by sharp tailored shirts. The collection holds resemblance to 90’s subculture, which the designer often draws back to as a main source of inspiration.
