LFWM: Backstage at Oliver Spencer Spring/Summer 2018 Show

This season saw KMS and lead stylist, Johnnie Sapong team up with London menswear label, Oliver Spencer for their Spring/Summer 2018 show. Reflecting the brand’s penchant for relaxed, unfussy silhouettes; Sapong maintained a relatively understated mood across the board when it came to styling. Besides the abundance of buzz cuts; the textured, windswept look was the most prevalent choice.

How to achieve textured, windswept hair:

1. Use a texture or volume-enhancing shampoo and skip on the conditioner to give hair more grip.
2. Use a hairdryer on a high speed until hair is about 80% dry.
3. Apply a sea salt spray through the hair before continuing to use a hairdryer while sweeping hair backwards from the face.
4. When hair is completely dry, apply hairspray throughout – starting from the hairline and working backwords.
