Paria Farzaneh, the only recently graduated designer, has made a big name for herself recently. Co-signed by Frank Ocean, she produces designs with relevance and function: mixing Western references with Iranian colour and fabrics really brings something new and exciting to fashion.
For her Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection Faria has fused issues concerning memory, identity and profession into twelve key looks. Traditional tailoring alongside hand printed Iranian fabrics translate into a message about dress sense at work, and the ways that those boundaries and constrictions can be redefined and expanded upon.
