Dover Street Market have dropped the Raf Simons Joy Division T-Shirts.
The T-shirt pays homage to Joy Division, the 70’s rock band from Machester, UK. The front of the t-shirt sports the infamous cover from the bands 1979 album ‘Unknown Pleasures’, whilst the back includes the artwork from the bands 2nd compilation album of 1988 ‘Substance’ and reads ‘Joy Division 1977 – 1980.’
Raf Simons has featured Joy Division’s iconic artwork several times in the past, such as in the A/W 2003 Closer Collection where Simons collaborated with graphic designer Peter Saville on a collection of hand-painted parka coats which featured the iconic Factory Records Label album artwork.
