PAUSE EATS: The Allegory Shoreditch

By January 16, 2018Lifestyle, Restaurant

Offering delicious, quality eats with that quintessential Shoreditch boho flair; The Allegory is one of east London’s latest additions to the illustrious Drake & Morgan portfolio.

Set just mere minutes from the hustle & bustle of Liverpool Street’s commercial buzz and Shoreditch’s creative, millennial troupes – the contemporary hotspot has clearly taken nods from both potential frequenters in its design and ambitions.

When we popped down on Monday evening, the atmosphere was more resemblant of a Friday night than the beginning of a cool winter’s week. A testament to the mission of the Allegory, there was a varied mixture of those for office parties, date night and a good auld’ catch up with friends.

The expansive food selection offers something for every palate and appetite, ranging from a delectable, mouthwatering Wagyu beef burger to lighter bites like pan-fried salmon and a delicious selection of sharing plates. From a three course dinner to a grab & go style lunch – the Allegory really caters to every occasion.

Complementing the innovative range of cuisine on offer, a dizzying selection of creative, well-thought cocktails, refined wines and, of course, the usual assemblage of spirits & beers provide the ultimate accompaniment to an otherwise exceptional standalone offering.

Great food, great drinks, attentive staff & inspiring surroundings in east London? We’re in.
