A utilitarian spin on the classic Dr. Martens 1461 shoe.
Dr. Martens rework their classic 1461 style with the help of apparel brand Engineered Garments. The collection blends elements from the two brands to construct a shoe presented in six military inspired colours: milkshake, khaki, navy, oxblood, black and white.
Building upon the military theme established through the muted colour palette, the SS18 collection replaces the laces with a utilitarian velcro strap to give the silhouette a contemporary new look. Engineered Garments freshen-up the shoe for the 21st Century but still work with the key components of a Dr. Marten shoe (yellow stitching, scripted heel loop etc…) to fit in harmoniously with their brand identity.
Dr. Martens x Engineered Garments SS18 will drop on 29th April.
