An MVP on and off the Court
The capsule which first previewed back in February is due for release on April 13th. The collection aims to showcase Houston Rockets Star, James Harden, through the eyes of Adidas and Y3 head honcho, Yohji Yamamoto – uniting three creators at the top of their games.
The collection has Harden in mind, blending high levels of sophisticated tailoring with the best in performance design. The colourway revolves around black, night indigo and champagne with a ‘Botanflowerpopping’ flower as the centrepiece of the collection. The so-called ‘King of Flowers’ is a symbol of bravery, nobility, good fortune and respect as well as being a symbol of the ancient Japanese Samurai. Combining the traits of a elite athlete with Japanese heritage.
