Damir Doma & Lotto Team Up For Minimal SS19 Collection

By June 29, 2018Fashion News

A minimalistic and urban collection

Teaming up for the third instalment of their collaboration, fashion designer Damir Doma & sportswear brand Lotto unveil a collection with a playful and creative attitude.

The collection sees the designer rework the distinctive Lotto logo, giving it a minimal and experimental aesthetic and making it the focal point of the range. T-shirts and sweatshirts from the collection are folded and printed with the maxi logo, creating a deconstructed effect inspired by the Japanese origami technique.

With a colour palette that focuses on mixtures of black and white, with pops of yellow and red, this collection includes pants, tracksuits and running tops splattered with digital print bleached fabric, and T-shirts with colourful trimming inspired by vintage Lotto football jerseys. Colour block windbreakers and lightweight oversized jackets are also included in the range.

The designer opts to create graphic patterns on high-tech Acetate joggers and sweatshirts by wrapping signature bands around the body of the tracksuits, instead of down the legs and sleeves, as we have conventionally seen. T-shirts and tanks tops are embroidered with a multicoloured version of the Lotto logo, aswell as airbrushed on the back of hoodies.
