Balenciaga Teams Up With the World Food Programme for Collaborative Capsule

Balenciaga is for the people.

After making its first appearance at Paris Fashion Week, Balenciaga’s collaborative capsule alongside the United Nations humanitarian organisation, World Food Programme is now available for purchase.

Joining forces to bring awareness to the initiative to end world hunger by the year 2030, the collaborative collection is made up of outerwear pieces such as hoodies, pullovers and windbreakers alongside T-shirts, caps, belt bags and a scarf. Dual branding elements dress the front of the collection while phrases like “Saving Lives Changing Lives” are appear emblazoned on the back of the garments. Having already gifted $250,000 to the World Food Programme, Balenciaga has also pledged to donate 10% of the sale price of each item from the capsule sold in all Balenciaga stores and online starting from the September 6 until February 1st 2019.
