With the day of the dead over and us just about recovered from the party,
it’s time to get to grips with the changing season and the best drinks to get us through.
Made with Patrón Añejo tequila, the Patrón Old Fashioned is a combo
of the smooth and sweet blend of aged tequilas. Aged between 12-15 months,
it’s not the obvious spirit when thinking of an Old Fashioned cocktail.
New Fashioned Recipe
60ml Patrón Añejo tequila
10 ml Sugar syrup
1 dash Bitters
+ Orange peel for garnish
Method
- Over a double old-fashioned glass, use a vegetable peeler to take off two strips of orange zest, making sure to express the oil into the glass.
- Add Patrón Añejo tequila, sugar syrup, and bitters.
- Add ice—the biggest cubes you can find—and stir.
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
