As the fashion industry continues to become more and more environmentally conscious, and ‘New Gen’ designers focus on producing sustainable collections – Swedish-brand, Weekday, have announced the release of their brand new Spring/Summer 2019 collection, where all featured garments will be made from 100% recycled materials. The main purpose of ‘eco-fashion’, is to find ways in which garment production can have the least negative impact on the environment.
With the likes of high-street retailer H&M creating their own ethical ranges – Weekday has joined forces with Recover©, to push the limits of low-impact textiles and create 100% recycled materials, to use for a new season collection.
Weekday believes that every individual has the power to change their lives and make their own choices – and this collection allows for both, in an ethical way. The collection features a wide range of accessories, outerwear and casual wear – with some pieces even printed with the iconic recycling symbol.
The Weekday SS19 ‘100% recycled’ collection, will available in selected Weekday stores and online from March 21st, 2019.
