By March 4, 2019Fashion News

A 4 part episode.

After the recent passing of Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel is honouring the iconic designer, creative director and face of the brand with a new iteration of the luxury house’s 3.55 podcast centred on the brand’s legendary attention and craftsmanship, all which are traits most associated with Lagerfeld.

Created in collaboration with Tyler Brûlé and Monocle, the podcast will drop in four episodes and will feature what has turned out to be one of Karl Lagerfeld’s final interview.  The legendary designer sat down with Brûlé to talk at length about his storied tenure at Chanel which dates back to 1983, giving listeners a rare peek into the mind and inner workings of one fashion’s greatest visionaries. Along with plenty of tidbits about Lagerfeld, who Brûlé describes as a “walking museum”, the podcasts will also include commentary from the President of Chanel Fashion, Bruno Pavlovsky as well as Chanel ambassador and mega hip-hop star, Pharrell Williams.

The first episode of Chanel’s Métier Class podcast is out now, and more episodes will drop in the upcoming weeks.
