CIFF Paris Hosts First Edition at Garage Amelot During Fashion Week

Over 4 days of events & experiences.

In a historic Paris Fashion Week, the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair held it’s first ever edition outside of Denmark, offering various events and experiences over the 4 days of Fashion Week.

Taking people on a journey through concepts, the CIFF events kicked off with an LVMH Prize talk from an esteemed panel which included the award’s Mentoring Director, Jean Patou, Cheif Executive, Sophie Brocart and members of the LVMH expert committee. The rest of the events included a pane on sustainability, which discussed redesigning the high street in a more environmentally friendly way. A showcase space for the work of four Central Saint Martins MA fashion design graduates, which included fashion, video and sculpture installations, as well as an illustration on how to integrate textiles and fashion in a sustainable and socially responsible environment by Kenneth Ize, an LVMH prize shortlisted designer.

Elsewhere, o32c captured people attention with a 3D projected hologram and dedicated pop-up space to present their collaborations and explore it’s past and present DIY products, while Han Kjobenhavn Men presented their Spring/ Summer 2020 collection with an exclusive runway performance. HIGHSNOBIETY collaborated with Jun Inagawa to highlight the artist with their issue 5 of SHORT FOR magazine launched exclusively at CIFF Paris.

Rounding out the week, CIFF showcased over 50 brands of Pre Spring 2020 and Menswear collections, including local and international brands and designers. CIFF housed all their partners in their own private space through the 4 floors of the garage.

Speaking on CIFF’s first edition in Paris, Kristian W. Andersen, CIFF’s Chief Innovation Officer said:

” The idea was to bring to Paris what makes us so specific in Denmark. Anyone who has come to CIFF Copenhagen knows that we are known for offering visibility to brands and designers with no distinction of size. We have always welcomed  names that we feel share a narrative with us. We were so happy that some of our top brands decided to join us in Paris and strengthen the relationship they have with CIFF.
This first edition of CIFF Paris is special to us for being the first and this is exactly how I imagined it. Taking people to a journey through concepts that were always part of CIFF from the beginning: creativity, inclusivity and sustainability “
