After releasing his Levi’s 501 Jeans capsule a few months ago, Heron Preston returns with an expanded range of his collaboration for Spring/Summer 2020.

Taking to his Instagram page to announce the upcoming project dubbed ” Mistakes are OK,” the range which Preston says is inspired by his own life features pants and jackets, all detailed with inverted pockets, misplaced detailing and orange buttons. Signature Heron Preston motifs like the orange label sit alongside  Levi’s branding to round out the capsule.

Heron Preston’s Instagram caption read ” My next @levis collab for SS20 is called “Mistakes are OK” inspired by a tattoo on my arm that reads 1873 MISTAKES ARE OK. The hospital where I was born accidentally recorded my birth year as 1873 instead of 1983 on my birth certificate. 1873 is also the year Levi’s was founded. As a result, the collaboration takes denim and builds in conscious aberrations: re-shaped & misplaced pockets, mismatched buttons and rivets, incorrectly cut labels, reversed belt loops, exposed linings, asymmetric accenting and off-register resin prints.”
