Las Vegas Dressing

For decades people have been flocking to Las Vegas either for a weekend break or longer, and Las Vegas is one of those destinations that will cater quite happily for Stag and Hen do’s – group celebrations of all kinds or even a romantic getaway for couples – there is something for everyone and every style.

Famous for its fine dining, cabarets and live shows, nightclubs and casinos, planning what to pack can be confusing, especially if you have a weight limit on your cases and you intend to sample as much of Las Vegas as you can whilst you are there.

Luckily, there is no strict dress code for most of Las Vegas, but there is nothing worse than feeling out of place in a new environment so sticking to a few simple rules should see you through your Vegas experience without any ‘cringe’ moments where you simply want to get back to your room to change.

Firstly, if you are going to any club, event or casino remember to check with the hotel concierge who will be only too happy to advise.

You will find that the nightclubs and lounges often enforce any dress code they have put in place so packing smart trousers and bang on trend shirts for the men and designer dresses for women will usually get you into a club, instead of you being turned away. Of course, foot ware should also be of a high standard, no trainers!  The term ‘business casual’ is often used to describe the required dress for these venues giving you a good idea of what is acceptable.

The same general rule applies to restaurants – the more high-class the establishment – the classier they expect you to dress although only a few places ask men to wear a jacket. Most others require ‘business casual’ again so it’s always wise to pack more than one set of clothes that can be mixed and matched for these occasions.

Casino dress codes also vary from establishment to establishment – you will also find the dress codes are more relaxed during the daytime, tightening up in the evening.  Tightening up does not mean that men are expected to dress like James Bond or women are expected to be draped in glitz and glamour, it simply means leave the shorts, ripped jeans and flip-flops in your room.

Of course, not everyone can get to Las Vegas but luckily there are some exceptional sites where you can experience some great casino action. Sites like PayByPhoneBillCasino.uk which are one of the latest and safest ways to play online games. There are not many of us who are not concerned about identity fraud and a site that allows players to pay for their games using either their mobile phone or landline, eliminating the need to register any banking details have been welcomed by many.

It might not be Las Vegas but it is exciting and it might just be your lucky day!
