Teaming up with London-based artist Patrick Schmidt, Danish brand, Rains just unveiled a new product customisation project.
With a collection that’s packed with pieces featuring illustrations such as dogs, banana peels, and palm trees, the range, which is also in collaboration with EDIT, a concept store from Copenhagen, explores a broad design code that’s focused on “Post Summer” themes.
Working with Patrick Schmidt, an esteemed illustrator who has also worked on projects for luxury brands such as Gucci. The illustrator showcases his take on 90s nostalgia as each piece of his artwork is heat transferred onto the rainwear garments.
Launching simultaneously with the London Design Festival, this collaboration marks the first of Rains’ plans to work with external artists under the EDIT concept and will be launching first in Rains’ London King’s Cross location before dropping online.
