First seen ahead of the Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2020 presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh has since teased a closer look at the bulky sneaker.
Seemingly taking its design cue from basketball sneakers, the chunky Off-White silhouette continues to honour the hefty shoe trend, with padded uppers that are overlayed with panels, a padded mesh collar and two sets of round laces. Appearing in two distinct colourways, the sneaker is decorated with signature Off-White™ branding such as an arrow that waves the lateral sides of the shoe, making its way to the toe box. With strong ’90s basketball sneaker references, the mid-top shoe is rounded out with “OFF” branding on the sole unit.
With no word official name or details of the release, are these Off-White™ Basketball inspired sneakers a PAUSE or Skip?
