PAUSE or Skip: Gucci’s ’80s-Inspired Windbreaker

Retro 1980s aesthetic.

Throwing it back, Gucci just unveiled this retro 1980s aesthetic sports jacket that’s printed with the luxury houses iconic symbols and pieces.

Designed by Gucci’s Alessandro Michele, the windbreaker features an interlocking pattern of red ‘GG’ belts, stars, knots and love hearts, with contrasting panels consisting of red, blue and grey portions. A nod to throwback windbreakers, the pattern design begins at the collar, branching out with triangular point on the sleeves before being broken up with a bold mid-section in a block shade of grey. The windbreaker is rounded out with silver hardware, and elasticated cuffs for an authentic old school feel.
