ÀLEA creates Streetwear with an Ethical Focus

Bringing sustainability to the forefront.

Debuting its collection at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, Fall Winter 2020 marks the start of ÀLEA’s fight to produce striking streetwear that is genderless, high quality and environmentally conscious. By no means an easy quest, this first collection is a bold statement that confronts the shortfallings of the fashion industry head-on.

Inspired by 60s modernism and Milan in the 40s, the streetwear label juxtaposes these references with a digitally distorted lookbook for a retro-futuristic aesthetic. The garments, which are made from 100% recycled fabrics, are wide in silhouette and often cut slightly cropped for flattering proportions that keep things unisex.

Made in Italy, there are some graphics found in this streetwear collection but a lot of focus is put on the shape of the clothes and on functional details such as thumbholes which feature extensively.

Check out the full lookbook below and be sure to keep an eye out on this young brand!
