Patchwork perfection.
Calling for hope during challenging times, Feng Chen Wang’s Spring/Summer’21 collection comes with a lookbook and video. Mixing images of nature in a distorted VHS style with jumpy footage of models wearing the clothing against a black backdrop – the video is ridden with contrasts that illuminate the chaos of the world currently.
The clothing focuses on patchwork, mixing various panels of earthy-toned fabrics to create tailored jackets, shirts and trench coats. Denim is featured in the style of a jacket and jeans but also integrated with beige coloured fabric to create a hybrid between a blazer and chore jacket.
See below for a close look at the collection.
