A unique technique!
Using 26 iPhones mounted on a circular structure, the video for Kolor’s Spring/Summer’21 collection utilises all of those smartphone’s cameras. The stop-motion video shows the Japanese labels latest garments from every angle, matching the pace at which it flicks between perspectives according to the soundtrack of Kikagaku Moyo’s Smoke and Mirrors.
A new technique that has not yet been seen in this set of virtual fashion weeks, every detail of this collection could be seen – something that is often a difficult achievement with digital shows. The clothing was a re-interpretation of the brands work in 2011, featuring flowy silhouettes that blended patterns through overlapping panels.
See the video below along with the energetic collection lookbook.
