Abloh's take on a white shirt.
Virgil Abloh has once again presented his ability to update classic menswear items with statement-making graphics to produce contemporary garments. For this piece, he remixes a traditional menswear-staple, the white shirt, and prints a large graphic in the centre.
Portraying a child who is wrestling with a skeleton, the “Pascal Skeleton” motif has been used on items by the designer previously and mirrors an image you would find in an old children’s book. In this case, the graphic goes across the shirt’s buttons. Printed to appear behind this graphic, Off-White branding and the season “Fall-Winter 2020-21” is added along with a paragraph about the brand.
