WAWWA Clothing Creates Colourful Utilitarian Designs for its A/W Collection

Fueled by nature.

Manchester-based label WAWWA Clothing has released the lookbook for it’s Autumn Winter collection, offering a selection of sustainably-made essentials that take inspiration from the ecological issues that the world faces currently. Created using recycled, post-consumer and organic materials, this collection presents an authentic appreciation for nature.

The Tundra Ecosystem, an area in the Arctic which has colourful bursts of colour in the summer months when the snow melts and flowers bloom in the challenging environment, was influential in the creation of this collection. This comes through in the rust, oat, sage and blue hues which weave their way through the collection, mirroring the colours found in these vast Arctic landscapes.

The clothing has an eye to practicality, with utility vests, cargo trousers and lightweight jackets that utilise their functional aspects, presenting them as stylistic additions. A particular focus is put on accessories, with a selection of large crossbody bags once again being a fusion of utility and urban design.

See the full collection below, and stay posted for when they release on the WAWWA webstore.
