Notorious for his relentless penchant for collaboration, it came as no surprise when it was announced that Virgil Abloh is now using his eye for design to create a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon.
There has been some mystique surrounding the collaboration, with neither party providing much information about how it will look, but now Mercedes Benz has uploaded photos on Instagram presenting some of the details of the car.
The car is timetabled to be revealed next month on Septemeber 8 and then auctioned with the proceeds being donated to a charity that is yet to be announced. Along with the vehicle, Virgil Abloh posted a photo of a t-shirt he has designed sporting the Mercedes logo – a possible extension of the collaboration.
