Brain Dead Marks Second Converse Collaboration with Two New Silhouettes

Chuck 70 and “Bosey MC.”

Following up on their collaborative One Star shoe earlier this year, Brain Dead and Converse have reunited once again to reimagine the Chuck 70 and Bosey MC silhouettes.

The first silhouette arrives with distorted foxing tape and a double-stacked EVA foam sole. Reimagining the Chuck 70 design, the upper presents an assortment of cow print Converse’s tri-panel canvas construction and is complete with Converse and Brain Dead co-branding.

The latter, dubbed “Bosey MC” offers a modern interpretation of Converse’s 1940s Lakestream wading shoe. Exploring the utility heritage of the low-cut sneaker, Brain Dead’s visual graphics are complemented by tactile layering and functional features, including a reinforced foam collar lining, cord loop heel pulls, and lacing cables.

The Converse x Brain Dead collaboration will be available via both brand’s websites and additional select retailers worldwide, from 19 November. An all-black colourway will be available exclusively at Dover Street Market.
