Kim Jones and Nike Tease Pending Air Max Collab

By November 23, 2020Fashion News

Rumoured to drop next year.

First rumoured in June, Kim Jones and Nike have teamed up for a collaborative Air Max 95 “Total Orange.” Expected to arrive in two colourways, the two’s Air Max 95 presents a look that veers away from the refined, premium feel of past projects and back towards the world of Nike sportswear.

Following the designer’s  Air Max 360 High collaboration from 2018 and Air Jordan release, earlier this year, the rumoured silhouette boasts a bold orange tone with hits of reflective silver. The upper’s are dressed in grey and equipped with a Morse code-like series of black dots and dashes as well as a contrasting white toe cap and mudguard – complete with Jones’ signature.

Elsewhere, the Air Max 95’s standard strip of mesh that covers the toebox and bottom half of the eye stays is gone, replaced by a smoky black TPE and a semi-transparent outsoles reveal a large Nike Air hit on the bottom.

Take a look at the sneaker below, The Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 “Total Orange” will reportedly hit retailers in 2021, though neither this nor any retail price has been confirmed by Nike.
