Marcus in Manchester.
Perpetuating their ongoing efforts to celebrate community, creativity and voices and visionaries of the future, British mainstay Burberry recently unveiled a mural dedicated to Marcus Rashford MBE in his hometown of Manchester.
Created in collaboration with British artist Jazz Grant, the large image was made up using overlayed childhood images of the sports star. Speaking on the unveiling of the artwork, Jazz commented:
“It was all about creating something uplifting, positive and dynamic with a sense of community and supporting the youth. I wanted it to feel really exciting but also to have subtle textures and tones, essences of its immediate surroundings, so that in a way it blended into its environment.”
