Referencing the YG's hometown.
Streetwear label 4Hunnid has just previewed its graphic offerings for the SS21′ season. Owned by rapper and entrepreneur YG, the brand represents L.A. culture and the Chicano lifestyle which the 30-year-old grew up around.
This self-reflective capsule of clothing is shot against a red backdrop, a colour which the artist is synonymous with, and features many references to his home town of Los Angeles. These references include a vintage-inspired t-shirt depicting an old-school red muscle car cruising along the L.A. cityscape.
The collection focuses on monochrome clothing of either white or black which is uplifted with a range of graphics and details, often in red or teal blue. This includes a scribbled “400” print that boldly features down the leg of cropped wide-leg trousers and stripes that run along one side of a boxy-fitting white sweatshirt.
