Focused on utility.
Norwegian label Helly Hansen has released its latest collection through the sublabel HH-118389225, which uses innovative techniques to bring the brands vast archive into the modern-day.
For the SS21/“211” collection, the brand has taken inspiration from its 140-year history in technical sailing apparel, creating life vests for a myriad of situations and environments. Utilising professional-grade fabrics, the aesthetic codes of life vests are incorporated into a range of utilitarian garments and bags. Prominent across the collection is a focus on pockets, a straightforward method of creating a more practical final product, they can be found protruding from the chests of t-shirts, clipped across jackets and on the sides of trousers.
