Since its budding in 1920, New Era has been handcrafting some of the finest headwear in the world. Though with a new era, comes new opportunities, evident through the brand’s latest collaboration with The Hundred (a brand-new sports competition due to launch this summer).
The Hundred fuses blockbuster entertainment alongside world-class cricket, for the first time on this scale. Coming together to produce a collection of new lifestyle caps designed for the inaugural event due to take place from 21st July to 21st August, the collaboration boasts a bold, colourful design featuring The Hundred’s eight city-based team.
Consisting of London Spirit, Birmingham Phoenix, Trent Rockets (Nottingham), Welsh Fire (Cardiff), Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers (Leeds) and Southern Brave (Southampton), the partnership sees The Hundred put its own unique spin on New Era’s iconic 9FORTY and 9FIFTY snapback caps.

Laurence Joslin, Brand Director EMEA at New Era, explains the concept behind the collaboration, “With the sports fan and fashion enthusiast in mind, we have created a unique collection of caps inspired by the essence and personality of the teams participating in The Hundred. We want to excite the fans and give them the opportunity to champion their team through headwear.”
