By March 5, 2021Music

Welcome to March Madness. Deep dive into our freshest selection of new music this Friday as we offer you the latest tracks you need in your rotation.

JUSTIN BIEBER – HOLD ON

In what is considered a dangerous mission – Justin Bieber has no limits in his new single and accompanying visual ‘Hold On’. Directed by Collin Tiley, who recently worked alongside Bieber on Anyone and Lonely, the video clip opens dramatically with a reckless police chase through the streets. We soon find out that JB has made the decision to rob a bank in order to pay for his lover’s medical bill, as he softly sings: “We all know I should be the one to say we all make mistakes…” Set to feature on his forthcoming, sixth album ‘JUSTICE’, it will arrive along with previous single ‘Holy’ featuring Chance the Rapper.

YAW TOG ft. KWESI ARTHUR and STORMZY – SORE (REMIX)

“It doesn’t happen overnight…”, or does it? Ghanaian artist Yaw Tog finds himself in collaboration with some of the biggest names in music just a year after he gained viral recognition and overnight success from his track ‘Sore’. At just 17-years of age, Tog is gearing up to release his debut, 7-track EP by the end of March, but before that, he has newly released an official remix to his track which features Kwesi Arthur and Stormzy.

JAHMED – USAY

Taken from his sophomore EP titled Armani, West-Coast rapper Jahmed delivers sharp lyricism and high-octane beats on his latest visual offering ‘USAY’. Born to a hip-hop loving family, Jahmed’s self-taught sound is vibrantly captured throughout the single and has been inevitably carved by his musical inspirations.

DENZEL CURRY ft. JOEY BADA$$ – COSMIC.M4A (THE ALCHEMIST VERSION)

The sequel. Today, Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats have released UNLOCKED 1.5, the sequel to their collaborative album. Enlisted with a handful of industry names, the duo recently dropped the single Cosmic.m4a (The Alchemist Version) which features New York native Joey the Bada$$.

JNR CHOI – REALITY

Entering a new decade with force, rising rapper and model JNR Choi has released a brand-new video entitled ‘Reality’, styled by PAUSE’s very own Rhys Marcus Jay. Showcasing unwavering versatility through every drop, the artist explains that the concept behind ‘Reality’ is to reassure listeners that good times are on the way.

TYLER, THE CREATOR – TELL ME HOW

Tyler, the Creator has officially released his track ‘Tell Me How’ – originally made for a Coca-Cola commercial debuted back in February this year. Precedented by his prior release ‘Gravity’ featuring Brent Faiyaz, the artist also shared that the intro of the song features him playing the flute for the very first time.

DRAKE – WHAT’S NEXT

Amidst the ‘Certified Lover Boy’ rumours and fluctuating timeline of release, Drake has managed to keep fans satisfied with his brand-new mixtape ‘Scary Hours 2’, a follow up to ‘Scary Hours’. The EP features three fresh songs ‘What’s Next’, ‘Wants and Needs’ and ‘Lemon Pepper Freestyle’ alongside Rick Ross.

VERSHON – STICK BY ME

Amid the release of Jamaican artist Vershon’s new EP ‘Only One’ comes a romantic single ‘Stick by Me’. Possessing a creative flair across both music and visual offerings, the dancehall-infused rhythm is complete with Vershon’s use of suave vocals.
