Most commonly known for the work at his revered label LES BENJAMINS, Bunyamin Aydin was recently announced as the official designer for Turkey’s Olympics / Paralympics 2020 Tokyo team kit.

Taking inspiration, as usual, from elements of history and heritage, the designer created a special monogram for the occasion that will elevated the Nike uniforms of the male and female athletes. Spoeaking on the news, Benjamin commented

“I designed a logo that i thought would best to describe Turkey, each (pattern) represents the themes of Authenticity, Unity, Creativity, and Diversity. This journey, inspired by our roots, has come to this point by being combined with my own design language. I want to thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports, who believed in me from the very beginning and to this day, and Dr. Nazan Ölçer, who supported me with her predictions. I wish success to our athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games,”
