Happy Friday! The week in which Summer Solstice has briskly commenced. Deep dive into our freshest selection of new music this Friday as we offer you the latest tracks you need in your rotation.

HEADIE ONE – POUND SIGNS

 

Leading UK rapper Headie One has released a brand new single ‘Pound Signs’. Produced by Likkle Dots and Es, Headie retracts back to his drill-infused roots delivering us with a slice of what we can expect from his new forthcoming material. Commencing with an excerpt from an old interview with Bob Marley, the icon reflects on how financial wealth and mobility does not equate to true riches or personal fulfilment. A more hard-hitting approach to visuals sees Headie provide us with a cinematic and vivid music video that garners inspiration from Quentin Tarantino’s 1992 classic film ‘Reservoir Dogs’.

BIG MO ft. NESSLY – CHAINS SEDUCED HER

Big Mo reunites with Atlanta-based rapper and singer Nessly for a joint track entitled ‘Chains Seduced Her’, a follow up to their former hit single ‘Lean & Hennessy’. Combining their sonic dexterity to swank their jewels and effortless ability to attract women, the duo relay back and forth gracing the track with their renowned, atmospheric sound.

B YOUNG – COME ALIVE

 

British artist B Young has unveiled a brand-new single titled ‘Come Alive’ taken from his debut, forthcoming album ‘Differences’ due to hit the soundwaves this summer. Providing us with the perfect, balmy single, the East London rapper seamlessly fuses a concoction of musical elements to create his signature sound. Flying out to Marbella for the accompanying visuals really does mark the commencement of solstice.

V9 ft. BILLY BILLIONS – HOLE IN ONE

East London’s Homerton Sensei, V9, has dropped off a brand-new collaborative offering titled ‘Hole in One’. Far from the average drill music video, V9 has joint forces with melodic rapper Billy Billions to pay homage to the classic ‘Kenan & Kel’s He Got Job’ episode whilst smoothly stringing along cultural references from the 90’s movie ‘Happy Gilmore’.

MIST ft. BURNA BOY – ROLLIN

 

Birmingham Rapper Mist has returned, gracing us with a new single titled ‘Rollin’ featuring African Giant Burna Boy. Flowing back-to-back on the high-octane track, the pairs hard-hitting offering is produced by Toddla T and Fred Again, distinguishing itself as an anticipated collaboration we never quite knew we needed.

NAVOS ft. JAYKAE – BELIEVE ME

Hotly tipped Liverpudlian DJ Navos has tapped Birmingham’s Jaykae for a special rendition of ‘Believe Me’. Dubbed a contagious, breakout dance anthem, the track was born out of lockdown following the discovery on Tik-Tok and has now been adapted to fit Jaykae’s distinctive flow.

JADEN – BYE

 

Jaden has unveiled a dreamy first single taken from his ‘CTV3 Day Trippers Edition’ album. Titled ‘BYE’, the self-written track is produced by Lido, showcasing a carefree summertime vibe complemented by an aesthetic desert-located visual.

FLAWLESS SOUNDZ – COLD

British singer and rapper Flawless Soundz has come through with a brand-new freestyle single titled ‘Cold’. The East London native touches on personal experiences and thought-provoking topics over a melodic instrumental.
