YEEZY Gap Release the First Item from Their Collection

After a ten-year partnership was announced last year, information about the YEEZY X GAP collaboration has been minimal. However, this has quickly changed as a surprise jacket release has been posted on Instagram and “floating projections” of the item shown in many American cities.

The jacket in question is vibrant blue and boxy-fitting, with no front closure and a collar-lapel design. Its cropped and bulky design draws on the aesthetic that Kanye is building with his YEEZY mainline.

Produced from recycled nylon, the 44-year-old artist was spotted in the piece only a few days ago. Photographed leaving a car in Los Angeles, the blue jacket almost went unnoticed as he was wearing a multi-colour mask poked with small holes for breathing and seeing, along with Nike sneakers despite his Adidas affiliations.
